Mission & Philosophy

The Ship It Fund is the heart of $DEVOPS — a community-driven program that funds fun, useful, and chaotic open-source DevOps projects. Our goal is to empower builders, meme hackers, and OSS maintainers to ship cool things at the intersection of automation, culture, and community.

Funding Model

• A portion of Treasury profits is allocated to the Ship It Fund.
• Grants may be distributed on a rolling basis or through themed funding rounds.
• Fund activity is public and on-chain, ensuring transparency.
• Builders are encouraged to ship fast, iterate, and have fun.

The Ship It Fund is personally bootstrapped in the early stages. Initial grants will be modest — likely in the tens of thousands of $DEVOPS tokens — and will scale up proportionally as the project and Treasury grow.

Who & What We Fund

The Ship It Fund supports individuals and small teams building open-source projects that embody DevOps spirit and meme culture.

• 🤖 Developer tooling (CLI tools, bots, dashboards, monitoring hacks)
• 🌐 Community infrastructure (GitHub Actions, pipelines, WAF tools, etc.)
• 🎨 Meme-powered automations or cultural experiments
• 🧠 Educational content, open labs, or DevOps-for-degens frameworks
• 💡 Anything weird and useful that makes builders’ lives better
